Ιωάννα Μαρκουίζου Τι είμαστε τελικά; Είμαστε μόνο σάρκα και οστά; Κι αν ναι, τότε τι είναι αυτό που ορίζει αυτό το σώμα, να είναι ότι είναι και να πράττει όπως πράττει; Και αν υπάρχει κάτι πέρα απ` αυτό που κατευθύνει όλα αυτά, τι είναι αυτό, αν όχι σώμα, και από πού προέρχεται; Και αν πάλι είμαστε αυτό που είναι πέραν του σώματος, ποια είναι η ανάγκη του να βρισκόμαστε σε σώμα; Μία ενδόμυχη αναζήτηση χωρίς τέλος. Όμοια όπως κι εμείς τώρα, επιδόθηκαν κι άλλοι κατά το παρελθόν σ` αυτού του είδους την αναζήτηση του εαυτού, όπως θα ακολουθήσουν κι άλλοι πολλοί μετά από εμάς και θα συνεχιστεί έτσι έως ότου πάψουν να υπάρχουν άνθρωποι εντός του κόσμου αυτού. Το ζήτημα είναι πως ακόμα κι αν λάβεις κάποιες από τις απαντήσεις που ζητάς, πώς θα μπορέσεις να τις μεταφέρεις σε λόγια χωρίς να στρεβλώσεις το νόημά τους. Παρ` όλα αυτά υπήρξαν κάποιοι που κατόρθωσαν σε μικρό ή μεγάλο βαθμό να καταγράψουν την προσπάθειά τους αυτή,...
